Katrina Kope is a Seattle-based vocalist, composer, and educator whose work spans jazz, funk, and electronica. A graduate of Cornish College of the Arts, she draws deep inspiration from her jazz roots while exploring new sounds across multiple genres.Katrina has graced some of the largest stages in the Northwest, released eight albums, and recorded several collaborations with various artists, earning deep respect among her peers for her distinctive voice, fearless improvisation, and bold approach to songwriting. She moves fluidly between styles, yet always finds her way back home to the piano and her voice—if only for a breath between projects.This year, Katrina has toured internationally with Good Co, the Electro-Swing Band, performing in Italy, Germany, and Austria, along with several tours across the U.S.Her performances and compositions can be heard with Good Co Music, Rumba Kings, Hurricane Dreamz, Marmalade, Purr Gato, Soul Kata, and in her solo projects using Ableton Live. Connie Wible

Norman Baker’s journey in music started at 5 years old while singing songs by Cindy Lauper and Whitney Houston on his dad’s camcorder during family vacations. Coming from a musical family with his mother playing fiddle & mandolin, uncle Milo Petersen being an award winning jazz educator & performer in Seattle, he first took to the stage at age 13 sitting in with his dad’s band to play and sing songs by The Beatles, and CCR. With 20+ years of professional experience; you can find him performing around the PNW as a side-man on bass and backing vocals, as well as leading his Americana band Norman Baker & The Backroads, his reggae band Fire Marshall Ventura, his Neil Young cover band Rubies in the Dust, and has had many roles on over 30 released albums.

 

As guitar and bass teacher he’ll focus on the basics of technique & theory, rhythm & groove, reading, ear training, and improv; while adapting to the unique abilities and interests of each student. Other subjects he can help with are basics of electronic music production & recording (Logic, Garage Band), songwriting, lyricism, and harmony arrangement.

Piano, Adaptive Piano, Neurodiversity Consulting

Connie Wible, Owner of Musical Mind Music Studios, Mercer Island, Washington, is a performing artist, composer and experienced Neurodiverse Adaptive Piano consultant..  She studied at Boise State University, and Seattle Pacific University concentrating in Piano Performance and Piano Pedagogy with an emphasis in Abnormal Psychology.  Connie is the Founder and Director of Mercer Island Music Technology Camps, Mercer Island, Washington, which ran for 15 years.  She has composed and performed her music in several documentaries as well as Albums published, and performs solo, Piano Duo, and 8 Hand Piano Ensemble as well as accompanying various groups.

 

Connie is a public speaker on the topics of Adaptive Piano for Special Needs, Single Parenting, and Music Wellness.  You can find her Music on Apple Music, Amazon, & Spotify:  “Journey of the Heart”, and "Orcas Island Reflections" original piano music.  

She has 50 years working with children and adults has developed adapted piano and keyboard instruction for children with Autism Spectrum and Aspergers Syndrome along with ADD, dyslexia and behavior disorders.  She teaches in person and online.
