Katrina Kope
Voice & Piano

Katrina Kope is a Seattle-based vocalist, composer, and educator whose work spans jazz, funk, and electronica. A graduate of Cornish College of the Arts, she draws deep inspiration from her jazz roots while exploring new sounds across multiple genres.Katrina has graced some of the largest stages in the Northwest, released eight albums, and recorded several collaborations with various artists, earning deep respect among her peers for her distinctive voice, fearless improvisation, and bold approach to songwriting. She moves fluidly between styles, yet always finds her way back home to the piano and her voice—if only for a breath between projects.This year, Katrina has toured internationally with Good Co, the Electro-Swing Band, performing in Italy, Germany, and Austria, along with several tours across the U.S.Her performances and compositions can be heard with Good Co Music, Rumba Kings, Hurricane Dreamz, Marmalade, Purr Gato, Soul Kata, and in her solo projects using Ableton Live. Connie Wible
Piano, Adaptive Piano

Connie Wible, Owner of Musical Mind Music Studios, Mercer Island, Washington, is a performing artist, composer and experienced Neurodiverse Adaptive Piano consultant.. She studied at Boise State University, and Seattle Pacific University concentrating in Piano Performance and Piano Pedagogy with an emphasis in Abnormal Psychology. Connie is the Founder and Director of Mercer Island Music Technology Camps, Mercer Island, Washington, which ran for 15 years. She has composed and performed her music in several documentaries as well as Albums published, and performs solo, Piano Duo, and 8 Hand Piano Ensemble as well as accompanying various groups. She has 25 years working with children and adults with neurological issues, and developed an effective Keyboard Adaptive Program called “Piano Keys for Autism”. She teaches according to the student's learning style and has developed adapted piano and keyboard instruction for children with Autism Spectrum and Aspergers Syndrome along with ADD, dyslexia and behavior disorders. She teaches over 20 special needs students at present in her studio of 55 students both in studio and online.
Connie also specializes in teaching pianists who need accompanying skills, composing and improvisation and mentors music teachers in starting their own studios. Because of the growing need for teachers who can adapt for Special Needs students, she has worked with many teachers around the country in customizing lessons for their students. She has given workshops on teaching Adaptive Piano at several Professional Music Conventions, and several groups around the country. She was on the Staff of “Celebrating the Spectrum”, the first ever Autistic Piano festival at Michigan State University. She ran a Seniors Piano group at the Mercer Island Community Center, and is a member of Alive Inside Foundation, working with seniors with dementia and Alzheimer’s.
