Chris Goodwin is going into his sophomore year at Mercer Island High School, and is the class Vice President. Chris has been studying piano, voice, and songwriting at the studio since he was in third grade. He started with Michael Richter, a student teacher under the mentorship of Connie Wible. When Michael left for college, Chris started working with Connie. Chris played for the Lakeridge Elementary School Choir as a 5thgrader, and has performed many styles of music in many settings. He is very good with Bles and Jazz – a natural. He is also in the Mercer Island Band as a percussionist, and likes to sing and play his own songs.
Chris was one of our first campers at MI Music Technology Camps, and became a Junior counselor after a few years, helping campers with Garage Band and Clavinovas, and then as our Head Counselor, directing recreation and producing videos. Chris creates a really fun themed environment for our summer camps! On top of working at camp, Chris builds and manages our websites and updates our facebook pages. He is a great musician and asset to the studio! Thank you, Chris, for being yourself – truly amazing!!!
