The Program
A lot goes on at Music Technology Camp.
When you come to camp, there is a lot of work and a TON of fun in store. Upon arrival, you are greeted by our friendly staff and all campers attend a meeting to address the goals for the day. Following that you get creating at one of our three main activities; Piano, Technology, and Art/Video.
At camp, campers will be able to:
- Learn to write, orchestrate, record, and perform their own creative music.
- Be in a piano ensemble – at any level!
- Learn to use music software for recording, games, and theory, including GarageBand.
- Direct – and star – in a high quality music video!
- Own a CD of our campers’ great original and popular songs!
- Make music-inspired art for fans.
- All snacks are provided. Yum!
On Friday, the campers put on a show! You get to see videos, slideshows, music recorded and live, and enjoy treats. The performance is around 4:20 on Friday and is a great way to celebrate music and wrap up camp.
