Hello to our wonderful Mercer Island Music community!

We are excited to make several big announcements today for the coming months!

2012 Camp Dates!

Our official Music Technology Camp dates for summer 2012:

-June 18-22

-July 23-27

-July 30-August 3

Each week has two sessions:

-9AM-12PM for ages 6.5-11

-1PM-4PM for ages 11-18

Tuition is $250. We are now sponsored by the Mercer Island Parks and Rec Department and will be taking registration online through their website. More details will follow when registration is open.

Please spread the word! Tell your friends, have your kids invite a friend or two, like the tech camp page on Facebook for updates and special offers… we want to share our camp with as many young musicians as possible!

Piano Keys for Autism

We are starting to add to our Piano Keys for Autism section on our website. Please like the facebook page and share Piano Keys for Autism with your friends! We have a growing collection of inspiring videos of our very own students. We are so thrilled to share with you just how powerful music can be!

Community Outreach

Mercer Island Music is also working to become a part of the Mercer Island community, and we are going to highlight our presence on the island through our blog as well as social media. Our first feature on the island: Connie Wible, head of Mercer Island Music as well as master piano teacher, is performing the musical orchestration for all three “Operetta” performances at Mercer Island’s elementary schools. With the use of technology (including the Yamaha Clavinova), Connie will play a full orchestra by herself to compliment over 300 young performers on stage!
